The erratic boulder “Sass da Preja Buja” is a megalith of serpentinite, named for its typical green colour, located in the northwest of Sesto Calende, in the area of San Vincenzo, in a clearing at the entrance of the woods near the eponymous chapel. There are signs on the hillside road. Near the largest boulder there are two other, smaller serpentine boulders.
The geological site is located north of the town of Sesto Calende in the locality of San Vincenzo.
From the Romanesque church of San Vincenzo, follow the signs and walk for approximately five minutes down the dirt road leading to the site.
